Project Title: Factors influencing lexical selection in multilingual language production
[Appointment Period: 15 months]
We are seeking a full-time RA for the research project titled “Factors influencing lexical selection in multilingual language production.” The appointee will be responsible for running psycholinguistic experiments on language production. Specific duties include preparing experimental materials and programs, data collection, and preliminary data analysis. He/She is also expected to perform administrative support to the Principal Investigator and the research team. The initial appointment will be for an initial period of 15 months, with the possibility subject to review and funding situation. The appointment expected to start in mid-July 2025.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or a related discipline. They should have high proficiency in both English and Chinese, preferably in both Mandarin and Cantonese. and excellent interpersonal skills. Experience with psycholinguistics research, and familiar with relevant software (e.g. E-Prime) will be of advantage.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end gratuity, leave, medical and dental benefits.
