- The COW shall at minimum possess a Diploma or Higher Certificate in building or
building studies from a Hong Kong Polytechnic University / Polytechnic or Hong Kong
Institute of Vocational Education / Technical Institute / Technical College or equivalent
and have attained the language proficiency requirements of ‘Level 2’ or above in Chinese
Language and English Language in Hong Kong;

- Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (DSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent (Note: ‘Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 2’ in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth) together with a least 10 years relevant experience in site supervision after obtaining the technical;

- Qualification including 6 years relevant experience in the capacity of the COW.

 

Job Requirements:

(a) Occupation Safety and Health Management Course;
(b) Basic Accident Prevention Course;
(c) Construction Industry Safety Card Course (Green Card); and
(d) Certified Worker Training Course for Confined Spaces.

 

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Clerk of Works.
