Cathay Subsidiary Services consists of several independent departments that provides professional services to Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and its subsidiaries (the ‘Company’), including but not limited to Cathay Cargo Terminal, Cathay Dining, HAS by Cathay and Vogue Laundry Service Limited.

Candidates with background/ experiences under the following category are highly preferred.

Facility Management (FM)
Ground Support Equipment (GSE)
Material Handling System (MHS)

Responsibilities:

Identify and drive category opportunities in conjunction with client departments and the Manager, Indirect Procurement.
Assist the Manager, Indirect Procurement in the development and implementation of category strategies, in collaboration with business units for relevant categories of spend.
Lead end-to-end sourcing processes, from market research, RFP preparation, financial analysis, negotiation, and evaluation to contracting.
Collate market intelligence and provide feedback on product and commercial information.
Execute, in collaboration with business units, performance measurements for managing on-going supplier relationships; and continually seek improvements from the supply market.
Lead contract and commercial negotiations with suppliers to obtain the best value for the subsidiaries.
Explore procurement synergies within the Cathay Group as well as with associate companies.
Other ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements:

University graduate; a business or procurement-related degree would be an advantage.
Minimum 3 years of relevant procurement experience in commercial setting.
Relevant experience in supply market analysis, cost evaluation and contract management are highly preferred.
Strong negotiation, influencing and commercial skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Effective leadership and change management skills.
Proficient in computer skills Eg. MS Word, Excel.
Fluent in spoken English, Mandarin a plus.
