Program Overview:
Kontoor Brands invites driven and ambitious candidates to join our project-based internship program. This opportunity offers:
- A full-time, compensated internship with hands-on experience in a global corporate environment.
- Placement at one of Kontoor’s offices in Hong Kong . Candidates must be locally based or willing to relocate.
- Employment timeframe: July 2 – August 29, 2025

Project Role Title: Summer Intern – Color Approval Digitization
About your role:
Our team’s project focuses on digitizing color approvals. The goal is to research and implement alternative ways to digitally approve colors, develop efficient methods to numerically measure color tolerances, and align digital outputs with human visual assessments. The intern will support this initiative by analysing our current workflow, testing digital color assessment tools, and recommending improvements.
Job Duties:
- Research alternative methods for digital color approval. (e.g. any AI technology)
- Develop efficient approaches to numerically measure color tolerances.
- Analyze and compare digital color assessments with human visual assessments to establish objective values.
- Evaluate the current color approval process and propose improvements.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining a library of color standards and bulk submission records.
- Monitor fabric suppliers' color performance and approval procedures.
- Provide technical support to the fabric team and suppliers regarding color issues.
- Validate color complaints from garment vendors and coordinate with fabric mills.
- Contribute to updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for color approval if necessary.
Skills for Success:
- Background in Textile Chemistry, Functional Materials, Fashion and Textile Design or Global Fashion Management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of color theory and digital color measurement techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and data analysis skills.
