Job Summary
Key responsibilities encompass:
  • Product development and enhancement, customer research and competitor product analysis
  • Product management
  • Product marketing
  • Medical service management
It covers product responsibility over a wide range of distribution channels in Agency, Strategic Partnerships (banks, brokers and IFAs) and Direct. Liaise with Actuarial, IT, Operations and Finance, and support.
The Job
  • Assist to manage in health's product portfolio
  • Be customer centric, provide market update and competitive analysis that enable FWD to keep ahead of the competitors
  • Assist to lead and implement new / revamp products; medical service and campaigns
  • Identify new product concepts based on customer research, market / internal analysis or distribution feedback
  • Coordinate with relevant departments on product development or manage related initiatives
  • Take up ad hoc projects as stipulated by manager
The Person
  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Healthcare Services or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of product development; marketing; actuarial experience gained within the life insurance industry or medical services experience gained within healthcare industry
  • Excellent communication skills, and fluent in written and spoken English, Chinese reading and writing is a must
  • Strong project management skills, accuracy and attention to details
  • Self-motivated, organized, and a committed team player
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities and cope with stress
  • Strong PC skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word-processing
