Job description
- Manage legal matters involved in the daily operations of the company and its subsidiaries (the “Group”), including but not limited to drafting, reviewing and revising various types of contracts, agreements or legal documents.
- Participate in major business negotiations, providing timely professional legal advice and compliance support on intellectual property protection, industry regulations, competition laws and other relevant areas.
- Assist in enhancing the risk assessment and compliance systems and operational procedures of the Group to mitigate legal and regulatory risks. Monitor legal developments, evaluate their impact and provide updates to the Group as needed.
- Involve in due diligence and provide legal support on risk assessment in investment and financing projects.
- Responsible for daily communication and coordination with external legal counsel.
- Handle legal disputes and litigation matters of the company and its subsidiaries.
Job Requirements:
- University graduate with a degree in Law.
- Hong Kong Qualified Lawyer with at least 8 years’ PQE, preferably gained in a reputable law firm or in-house legal team.
- In-depth knowledge of business-related ordinances and regulations, including the Companies Ordinance, Listing Rules, Securities and Futures Ordinance and etc.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver timely and effective legal solutions.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
