Data Engineering Lead (Python, C++) - Global Hedge Fund

Our client is a leading hedge funds with strong market presence across the world. To cope with strong business performance, they are looking to expand their team here in HK.

The role will supervisor and mentor a team of data engineers in providing the best solutions and services to internal and external stakeholders.

The job:

• Design and enhance ongoing data infrastructure, data pipeline, data algorithms
• Lead a team of data engineers and allocate tasks and conduct code reviews
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders and provide data solutions
• Ongoing testing and debugging of systems and processes
• Drive projects across various global locations and support business growth
  
  

The right candidate:

• Strong experience in Python, C++, Java, Data Algorithms, Kafka, Elasticsearch
• Prior experience designing and enhancing data structures using algorithms and high performance server codes
• Team leading experience managing teams of data engineers
• Excellent communication skills
