On behalf of a globally renowned cosmetics brand headquartered in Hong Kong, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Demand Planner to join their dynamic APAC team. Your Role
As a key member of the regional supply chain function, you will play a pivotal role in shaping demand planning strategies and driving forecast accuracy across APAC markets. Your insights will directly influence business decisions and ensure alignment between commercial goals and operational capabilities.
Your Responsibilities
- Interpret historical sales performance, market dynamics, and promotional activities to build robust item-level demand forecasts.
- Provide strategic input on pricing, product lifecycle changes, and new product introductions to optimise planning outcomes.
- Maintain and enhance statistical forecasting models using FuturMaster, ensuring alignment with regional and global targets.
- Lead cross-functional S&OP meetings, collaborating with finance, marketing, commercial, and supply chain teams to ensure consensus on demand plans.
- Integrate new product launches into planning cycles, balancing bottom-up forecasts with global feasibility targets.
- Partner with supply planning to develop executable plans that meet forecast and budget requirements.
- Develop and refine dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools to monitor forecast accuracy and planning efficiency.
- Conduct variance analysis and implement corrective actions to improve forecast reliability.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives and best practices in demand planning across regional and global teams.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in demand planning, with strong exposure to APAC markets.
- Proven ability to challenge assumptions and influence senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end projects and process improvements.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across functions.
- Hands-on experience with forecasting platforms such as FuturMaster, Anaplan, or SAP IBP.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualisation tools like Power BI.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment with a focus on timely, high-quality outcomes.
- Fluency in English and Chinese is essential; additional regional languages are a plus.
