- Diploma or Higher Certificate in Civil Engineering, Statistics or equivalent fields
- fresh graduates are welcome
- experience in using Microsoft Office and operating GIS system/graphic design software, with knowledge in ArcMap and MicroStation being preferable
- check, verify and conduct statistical analysis of rainfall data, prepare figures, tables and charts for Rainfall and Landslide related study"
- carry out information search, data validation, site inspections and technical support for various IT and R&D projects"
- carry out analysis and calculations using relevant software and programming language where appropriate
- carry out geospatial studies on geographic information system platform
- provide technical supports in the seminars, workshops, forums, meetings, and etc.
- updating of databases and records
- retrieve, create, edit and check geological and geotechnical spatial data, including attribute data, for preparation of geological maps, plans and drawings, etc, on Geographic Information System (GIS) Platform
- assist in production of geological maps, 3D geological modelling, plans and drawings, etc. using ArcGIS software
- operate, maintain and update the GIS system, including software and hardware, and carrying out back up operations in regular period
