Platform and Network Security - Senior Manager

Our Large Organization client is looking for a Platform and Network Security - Senior Manager to join their IT Security department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure platform and network security controls are integrated into the design and architecture of all IT systems within the company.

• Monitor and verify that all security controls and services operate effectively across platforms, networks, email, and web gateways.

• Identify gaps in security controls and propose improvement initiatives, especially for emerging technologies the company plans to adopt.

• Protect various platforms including classic, virtual, container, and cloud environments with appropriate security measures and provide security logs to the Security Operations Centre.

• Manage firewall configurations, IDS/IPS signatures, web application firewall rules, and API security governance.

• Develop and deliver security metrics, reports, and service updates to IT and business stakeholders for informed decision-making.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

• Over 10 years of experience in platform and network security across multiple disciplines.

• Expertise in Endpoint/Server Security, Virtualisation, Container, Cloud Security, Email/Web Security Gateways, Firewall, IDS/IPS, and Web Application Firewall/DDoS/API Protection.

• Industry certifications such as CISSP or CISM are required.

• Strong service orientation with excellent communication, collaboration skills, and professional integrity.
