Risk, Manager/Senior Associate

Reporting To: Vice President, Risk Management

• Holder of Operational Risk Management and ECF on Cybersecurity recognized by the HKMA.

📌 Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manager/Senior Associate to join our Risk Management Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing risk management reports, supporting risk identification and assessment, and recommending measures to control and monitor risks across the bank.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare various risk management reports as assigned by the Department Head.

• Consolidate and review key risk indicator reports by liaising with colleagues across departments.

• Assist in operational incident management reporting and monitor risk issues and action completion status.

• Organize committee meetings and prepare meeting minutes.

• Coordinate and complete the RCSA process in collaboration with other departments.

• Support the development of processes and controls to manage IT risks.

• Coordinate new product reviews and assessments, assisting in the approval process.

• Assist in policy manual review and updates.

• Contribute to compiling climate disclosure reports.

• Prepare risk management reports for both internal and regulatory purposes.

🎓 Education & Professional Requirements

• University graduate in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a business-related discipline.

• Relevant certification in Operational Risk Management and ECF on Cybersecurity recognized by the HKMA preferred.

💼 Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in banking, preferably in operational risk management, compliance, auditing, or related fields.

🌟 Personal Skills

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Result-oriented with meticulous attention to detail.

• Good command of spoken English (Putonghua is an advantage).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related applications.
