Position Overview
This position supports the clinical validation and real-world evidence generation for the company's contactless health monitoring platform. The researcher will lead validation study design, coordinate partnerships with healthcare institutions, analyze longitudinal behavioral health datasets, and contribute to regulatory submissions and funding applications. This role bridges the gap between sensing technology development and clinical implementation in chronic disease prevention and proactive wellness management.
Key Responsibilities
Design and manage validation protocols in collaboration with eldercare facilities, sleep laboratories, and clinical partners to assess system performance in continuous health monitoring scenarios.
Analyze multi-modal behavioral and physiological datasets collected from deployed sensing devices to identify patterns associated with health status changes and early disease indicators.
Develop standardized data annotation frameworks and quality control procedures for large-scale health monitoring datasets.
Coordinate with healthcare partners and regulatory consultants to prepare documentation for NMPA pre-submission communications and clinical trial applications.
Lead preparation of grant applications and funding proposals to support ongoing R&D initiatives.
Contribute to academic publications, technical reports, and investor presentations to communicate research findings and product validation results.
Qualifications
Master's degree or above in a STEM or health-related discipline from a local Hong Kong university or well-recognized international institution.
Experience in experimental design, statistical analysis, and working with longitudinal health or behavioral datasets.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
Strong scientific writing skills with a track record of peer-reviewed publications or grant applications.
Trilingual proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin with excellent presentation and communication skills.
Demonstrated experience in preparing funding applications or regulatory documentation is highly preferred.
Entrepreneurial experience or background in startup environments is a plus.
Must be a Hong Kong permanent resident or legally permitted to work in Hong Kong.
