Responsibilities:
Assist the Nursing Manager in assessing, planning and delivering quality perioperative care
Serve as a scrub, assistant, or circulating nurse for various surgical and endoscopic procedures, ensuring instruments and equipment are properly prepared
Provide safe, accurate and compassionate care while maintaining effective communication with doctors, patients and colleagues
Supervise nursing and support staff, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure hospital standards and policies are upheld
Administer medications including controlled drugs and assist in managing complaints or risk cases
Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for patients and escort them to other wards or departments or facilities when necessary
Perform other duties as assigned by nursing supervisors or management.
Qualifications & Preferred Attributes:
Holder of Hong Kong Registered Nurse license with valid practicing certificate
Holder of valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate/ Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
Holder of Peri-operating Nursing/ Anesthesia Nursing/ Endoscopy Nursing/ Central Sterile Supplies Department Certificate
Experience serving as a Scrub, Assistant or Circulating Nurse is required
At least 2 years of relevant experience in Operating Theatre/ Endoscopy or Central Sterile Supplies
