Role Description

We are seeking a Human Resources Officer / Senior Officer to provide operational support to the Hong Kong office. You will manage the day-to-day employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on payroll and benefits administration, and ensure accurate and efficient execution of HR administrative responsibilities.

Key accountabilities

Payroll & Benefits administration

  • Liaise with the outsourced payroll provider to ensure timely and accurate monthly salary payments for HK office.
  • Consolidate and prepare payroll inputs (e.g., overtime, incentives, and leaves) and perform rigorous checks on payroll reports.
  • Handle annual tax reporting (IR56B/E/F/G) and ensure all practices remain compliant with the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance
  • Administer company benefit programs, including insurance schemes, MPF, and other staff benefit items.

HR Operations

  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle administration, from offer letter preparation and onboarding coordination to probation tracking and exit formalities.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, benefits and general operational queries.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee data within the HRIS and physical filing systems.
  • Provide support in organizing staff engagement activities
  • Assist with regional initiatives and projects as required

Experience & Qualifications

  • Degree holder with 3–5 years of hands-on HR experience with a focus on Compensation & Benefits; Experience managing outsourced payroll vendors is an advantage. Candidates with more experience will be considered for Senior Officer.
  • Solid knowledge of the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and statutory requirements. Exposure to HR practices in other Asia locations is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and MS Office, with emphasis on Excel for data management. Proficiency in AI-enabled tools is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience of HRIS platforms (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors) is appreciated
  • A result-oriented mindset with extreme attention to detail; comfortable working independently in a lean team to manage all hands-on administrative routines and HR responsibilities.
