Position Summary 職位概要
- Lead plastic toy research and development initiatives primarily at our Vietnam facilities, from concept to mass production.
- 主要在越南工廠領導塑膠玩具研發項目，從產品概念到量產。
- Collaborate with teams in Hong Kong and China to align product direction, engineering solutions and launch schedules.
- 與香港及中國團隊合作，以確保產品方向、工程方案及上市時間一致。
- Drive innovation in plastic molding design, structure and value engineering, while supporting soft toy projects when needed.
- 推動塑膠成型設計、產品結構及價值工程創新，並按需要支援布偶玩具項目。
- Ensure all plastic toys comply with international safety and quality standards.
- 確保所有塑膠玩具符合國際安全及品質標準。
Key Responsibilities 主要職責
- Manage and execute plastic toy R&D projects from concept, 3D design, prototyping, tooling to production.
- 管理並執行塑膠玩具研發項目，涵蓋概念、3D 設計、打樣、開模至生產。
- Coordinate with design, engineering and manufacturing teams to convert ideas into injection‑moldable, cost‑effective products.
- 協調設計、工程及生產團隊，將創意轉化為適合注塑生產且具成本效益的產品。
- Research market trends, plastic materials and molding technologies relevant to toy development.
- 研究與玩具開發相關的市場趨勢、塑膠物料及注塑技術。
- Improve existing plastic products in terms of structure, safety, durability, cost and assembly efficiency.
- 改良現有塑膠產品，在結構、安全性、耐用度、成本及裝配效率方面作出提升。
- Develop new plastic toy concepts in line with brand positioning and customer requirements.
- 根據品牌定位及客戶需求，開發全新塑膠玩具概念。
- Supervise and mentor the R&D team in Vietnam, especially on plastic design and injection molding problem‑solving.
- 監督並指導越南研發團隊，特別在塑膠設計及注塑問題解決方面。
- Travel occasionally to Hong Kong or China for project reviews and technical coordination.
- 偶爾前往香港或中國參與項目檢討及技術協調。
Ideal Candidates 理想人選
- Tertiary education; background in Engineering, Mechanical / Plastics Engineering, Industrial Design or a related field is an advantage.
- 大專或以上學歷；工程、機械／塑膠工程、工業設計或相關專業背景者優先。
- Minimum 5 years of R&D experience in plastic toys or plastic consumer product manufacturing.
- 至少 5 年塑膠玩具或塑膠消費品製造研發經驗。
- Strong knowledge of plastic injection molding processes and plastic toy production.
- 熟悉塑膠注塑工藝及塑膠玩具生產流程。
- Proven leadership and project management skills.
- 具備成熟的領導力及專案管理能力。
- Good command of English; Chinese language skills are an advantage.
- 良好英文能力；懂中文者更佳。
